Here are a few shots of my latest flowers. Turned out well, I think, but as you can probably imagine, they are an incredible amount of work! Thankfully, my Cricut machine did all the cutting.
Here’s what each piece looks like straight from being cut:
Each piece is dusted with Pan Pastel to give it a little bit of an ombre effect and then coated lightly with a fixative spray. Then the middle of each piece gets a dot or two of color. Each of the four petals is carefully curled. Then one piece is hot-glued to some brown bind wire and a second piece quickly attached opposite to it before the glue sets. The bottom petals are then curled up towards the center. Lastly, the wires are joined together with floral tape in groups of 20 or so for the smaller flower heads to 60 or so for the biggest ones.
