Every once in a while I get a picture in my mind of a flower arrangement I want to make. This month I kept picturing jasmine flowers with a little elephant figurine that I have. Today I put the elements together and I’m quite pleased with it.
One problem with paper flowers, of course, is that they don’t have the scent of real ones. For this arrangement I am trying a new solution to this. The round piece of wood holds a piece of lava rock. I bought some jasmine flower essence and put about four drops onto the lava over a week ago. It still smells faintly of jasmine, and I can refresh the scent at any time. I am going to try this with more flowers.
