Myrna, 1924-2023

Got the call I’d been both dreading and anticipating. Mom passed this morning. When I was with her yesterday, she wasn’t responding to me at all and the time between breaths was occasionally quite long. And it was obvious that even with the pain meds, she was still in discomfort, so I’m glad she doesn’t have to experience that any longer.

Here she is just last August. What a difference a few weeks can make.

Kale, I’m sorry you have lost your mother and long time companion. I’m glad she didn’t have to suffer for a long time. I remember how lively and interested she was when I visited you in December 2021. Be sure to care for yourself especially well now. See you pretty soon. Kathryn

Kate, I’m so sorry for the loss of your mother, Myrna. She was an amazing woman, so strong til the end. Cherish the memories you had together.
